Job summary

WSP seeks a Senior Technical Manager, Structural Engineer to join the Industrial Center of Excellence in Boise, ID. This leadership role provides senior technical expertise, project delivery oversight, and mentorship for complex industrial projects across North America.

The candidate will lead design for greenfield and brownfield projects, coordinate multi-discipline teams, and strengthen client relationships while guiding technical initiatives within the Industrial CoE.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
PE license required.
10+ years of progressive structural engineering experience in industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

Lead structural engineering for industrial facilities from planning through design, construction, commissioning, and startup.
Design and review manufacturing facilities, process buildings, foundations, and heavy industrial elements.
Provide technical oversight for calculations, drawings, specs, seismic design, vibration analysis, and dynamic loading.
Develop practical, innovative solutions balancing safety, constructability, performance, and cost.
Mentor engineers and project managers while promoting technical excellence and collaboration.
