Hargrove & Associates Inc. is seeking a Project Controls Specialist II to plan and schedule heavy industrial projects, monitor costs, and assist with estimating.

The role requires extensive experience and will operate from our Angleton office with a focus on coordination between safety, schedule, and field execution. Ideal candidates possess a high attention to detail, strong communication, and ability to mentor teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• AACE International or PMI certification is preferred.
• Requires 10+ years of relevant industrial experience in planning, scheduling, cost control and estimating.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules and analysis for contract packages to forecast construction activities and identify conflicts.
• Develop, monitor and update schedules via meetings and field verification.
• Understand Earned Value and Project Productivity.
• Monitor and maintain change notice/change order management system.
• Assist in weekly change notice hearings and change committee meetings.
• Develop estimates for construction projects, including change notices.
• Maintain cost system with commitments, change orders, invoices, and cost reports.
• Develop and update project schedules and establish progressive systems.
• Assist in developing construction and contract strategies for logistics and safety.
• Assist in quantity analysis for activities and estimating purposes.
