Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks an experienced planner/scheduler to lead planning and scheduling for heavy industrial projects in Texas. You will monitor costs and assist in estimating, maintaining cost systems, and supporting change management under close supervision.

The role requires up to 5 years of relevant industrial experience in planning, scheduling, cost control and estimating, with a strong eye for detail and adherence to company standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor or Master of Science in Construction Science, Building Science or related field highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules and analyses for contract packages to forecast construction activities and identify coordination issues where safety and schedule can potentially be in conflict.
• Monitor and update schedules by obtaining updates through meetings and field verification.
• Maintain the change notice/change order management system and assist in weekly hearings and meetings.
• Develop estimates for construction projects including change notices.
• Develop and maintain the cost system including reconciling commitments, change orders, contractor invoices and producing cost reports.
