Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) in Houston is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep factory equipment running at peak performance. You will diagnose root causes, dismantle devices, replace defective parts, and test performance to ensure reliability.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to 5S standards, and continuous improvement via CI initiatives. Occasional travel may be required; CMMS familiarity and predictive tech experience are beneficial.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 5 years of related experience in specific industry; or, 7 years of experience in specific industry.
• Experience in predictive technologies, precision alignments, and general maintenance of applicable process equipment.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze the problem, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
• Experience in vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations, precision alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment.
• May be required to travel.

Responsibilities

• Performs expert level break-fix & preventative maintenance across operations.
• Identifies and sources parts and repair items; evaluates alternatives for cost and reliability.
• Independently performs maintenance per industry standards and with CI-driven improvements.
• Maintains and updates CMMS records and history.
