Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) seeks an experienced maintenance technician for our United States operations. The role focuses on expert-level break-fix and preventive maintenance, identifying root causes, sourcing parts, and supporting CI initiatives within a factory environment.

You will work with planners to optimize maintenance procedures, operate multiple machining operations as needed, and ensure safety and 5S standards are followed. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 5 years of related experience in specific industry; or, 7 years of experience in specific industry.
• Experience in predictive technologies, precision alignments, and general maintenance of applicable process equipment.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze the problem, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert level break-fix & preventative maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Identify and source parts, supplies and repair items as necessary.
• Set up and operate machining operations (lathe, drill press, grinder) and perform welding as needed.
• Follow 5S and housekeeping standards; lead CI activities to drive cost savings.
• Provide training and support to lower level technicians and project teams.
• Troubleshoot and analyze complex control systems and data trends.
