Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician III for 2nd shift to diagnose, repair and set up manufacturing equipment. The role focuses on electro-mechanical systems, PLCs, safety and CMMS documentation in a high-volume plant environment.

The ideal candidate has an associates degree or equivalent, 7–10 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, and proficiency with Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures, blueprints, and Excel/Word.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient in Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures.
• Willing to standby, overtime as needed.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and CMMS.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electro-mechanical problems on equipment.
• Set up equipment, adjust recipes and controls.
• Repair and maintain mechanical components.
• Troubleshoot PLC inputs/outputs and drive systems.
• Enter work in CMMS and monitor parts usage.
• Train technicians and supervise shift activities.
• Maintain safety compliance and continuous improvement.
