Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced maintenance professional for the 2nd shift (3pm-1am, Mon-Fri, alternate Saturdays) to diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems on manufacturing equipment and to perform detailed setup and control adjustments.

Candidates should have an associate degree or equivalent, 7–10 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, strong knowledge of safety policies, ability to train technicians, read blueprints, and work both

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 7-10 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of and experience with Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures.
• Adherence to safety policies and customer quality.
• Available for standby, off-hours and overtime as required.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and CMMS systems.
• Willing to attend training sessions, including out-of-state locations.
• Ability to train all levels of Technicians.
• Intermediate knowledge of fabrication (welding, basic machining).
• Ability to read printed materials, blueprints, schematics, and computer graphics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; build cooperative relationships with employees, vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual is a plus (English & Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment.
• Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments.
• Repair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating condition.
• Advanced understanding of electrical principles and safety.
• Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, and drives.
• Troubleshoot PLC inputs/outputs and repair issues.
• Complete projects to add electrical circuits, controls, and relocate machines.
• Maintain and repair pneumatic systems; repair cylinders and components.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks per instructions.
• Enter all work in computer-based maintenance program.
• Monitor spare parts usage and complete orders as needed.
• Adjust equipment based on SPC data and coordinate with QA.
• Train technicians in complex tasks and skills.
• Supervise direct reports and related activities.
