Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Streetsboro, Ohio, is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to support our high-volume manufacturing operations on the 2nd shift (3:00 pm–1:30 am). This is an on-site, full-time role focused on maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex equipment to maximize uptime and safety.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, strong PC/PLC troubleshooting, and the ability to read electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of computer/PLC troubleshooting, industrial electronic systems, pneumatic systems, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical diagrams.
• Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Equipment Troubleshooting: diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
• Preventative & Predictive Maintenance: perform PM on production equipment and develop PM procedures.
• Safety & Compliance: follow OSHA regulations and safety policies; support lockout/tagout procedures.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with production supervisors, engineers, and leadership to resolve equipment challenges.
