Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Dallas is seeking an experienced maintenance technician for the 3rd shift (8pm-6am, Sunday-Thursday). You will diagnose and repair electro-mechanical equipment, perform detailed setups, and maintain electrical and pneumatic systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires 5–10 years of maintenance experience, an associates degree or equivalent, proficiency with CMMS, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• 5–10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiar with Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures.
• Able to work off-hours and overtime as required.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and CMMS systems.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and related documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment.
• Perform detailed equipment setup including recipe changes and control adjustments.
• Repair and maintain mechanical components to keep equipment running.
• Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits and sensors.
• Troubleshoot PLC inputs/outputs and repair issues.
• Enter all work completed in the CMMS.
• Monitor spare parts usage and complete parts order forms.
• Train technicians in advanced tasks and skills.
• Support safety procedures and standby assignments.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks following instructions.
• Relocate machines and add electrical circuits as needed.
