Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced HVAC Designer to join the Building Mechanical team and deliver innovative HVAC design solutions for heavy industrial clients. You will perform field investigations, interface with clients and vendors, size and select equipment, and prepare construction design packages.

You’ll manage schedule and technical quality of complex engineering tasks, collaborating with a multi-disciplined team to meet client expectations, scope, budget, and timelines.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience designing HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
• Proficient in Revit and related design software.
• Strong knowledge of codes and standards for HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
• Develop conceptual and preliminary design documents including sizing calculations, AFDS, P&IDs, and general arrangements.
• Develop final construction documents for HVAC systems such as chilled water and cooling water networks.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated designs.
