Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced HVAC Designer to join the Building Mechanical team. You will design HVAC systems for heavy industrial clients, perform field investigations, size and select equipment, and produce construction design packages.

You will collaborate with multi-discipline teams to meet client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. The role requires 10+ years in HVAC design for industrial facilities, proficiency in Revit, and knowledge of codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of HVAC design experience for industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in Revit and strong knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, and Trane Trace tools.
• Ability to collaborate with project teams remotely.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
• Develop conceptual and final design documents, including AFDs and P&IDs.
• Prepare final construction documents for HVAC systems such as chilled water.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and stakeholders.
