Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2 years' ergonomic experience.
• Experience with time study, standard work and line balancing.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and plant processes.
• Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate ergonomic risks, operator motion, workstation design and tooling to reduce risk.
• Lead direct-labor IE activities including time studies, line balancing, and labor planning.
• Establish standard work and labor data using approved methods.
• Analyze production processes, staffing, cycle time, variation to drive improvements.
• Develop line-balance plans and production-trial support for vehicle programs.
• Apply lean manufacturing and GM manufacturing-system principles to improve operations.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers in IE methods.
