Job summary

Greenfield Industries, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Engineer to enhance plant performance by applying LEAN methods and analyzing manufacturing processes on the production floor.

You will collaborate with production, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. Responsibilities include data collection, process documentation, and supporting system optimization projects using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other analytics tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field.
• Zero to two years of relevant experience; internships or co-ops preferred.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel and data-analysis skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly, solve problems, and work on the production floor.
• Eagerness to tackle complex topics with or without a team.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze production data (cycle time, downtime, scrap, OEE, labor).
• Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives (5S, standard work, visual management).
• Assist with facility layout, material flow, ergonomics, capacity planning, staffing recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Develop process documentation, reports, dashboards, and project tracking tools.
