Job summary

Associated Materials Innovations, a leading North American manufacturer of exterior building products, is seeking an Industrial Engineer to drive operational excellence, lean improvement, and cost reduction across manufacturing operations.

You will lead Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and standard work, develop labor standards, optimize plant layouts, and build data-driven dashboards to monitor safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of manufacturing experience with committed process improvements.
• Strong knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Lead Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Standard Work, and waste elimination.
• Develop and monitor labor standards and line balancing to improve productivity.
• Analyze plant layouts, production flow, and material movement for efficiency.
• Create dashboards and reports to track Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
• Manage improvement projects ensuring cost, schedule, and performance targets are met.
