Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years related experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in lean methods and tools to lead continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.

Responsibilities

• Conceive, design, develop, and test manufacturing processes based on analysis and objectives.
• Identify design improvements to utilize space and capacity within facilities.
• Identify equipment improvements to remove bottlenecks and breakdowns.
• Create and maintain process documentation including flow charts and time studies.
• Empower employees and optimize activities based on Six Sigma and Lean practices.
• Study current processes and implement evidence-based improvements.
