Job summary

Zing Recruiting is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer, Lean Manufacturing to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Warsaw, IN. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, 8+ years of manufacturing experience (automotive or complex environments preferred), and proven Lean

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in automotive or complex manufacturing environments.
• Lean Manufacturing Certification required; Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and quality.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing tools including Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen, Standard Work, and Kanban.
• Conduct time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain teams.
• Support new product introductions, process flow development, PFMEA, and workstation design.
• Monitor KPIs and develop action plans to improve performance.
• Train and mentor team members on Lean principles and continuous improvement practices.

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer, Lean Manufacturing to drive continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will focus on optimizing processes, reducing waste, improving productivity, and supporting new product launches while ensuring safety, quality, and cost objectives are achieved.

Location: Warsaw, IN

Compensation: $96-$140K DOE

Relocation: Assistance available

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in automotive or complex manufacturing environments.
• Proven success implementing Lean Manufacturing and process optimization initiatives.
• Lean Manufacturing Certification required; Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Visio and Minitab preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
