Job summary

Associated Materials Innovations in the Midwest seeks a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence across our manufacturing processes. You will lead lean transformations, coach teams, and standardize best practices to improve cost, capacity and quality.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields and 3+ years in CI/lean roles, with strong data skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, operations or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years in continuous improvement, lean, or manufacturing roles.
• Proven track record leading lean transformation in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and data-driven decision skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of continuous improvement strategies across manufacturing.
• Identify waste, streamline processes, and optimize production flows.
• Coach teams on lean principles and drive measurable cost reductions.
• Establish KPIs and a data-driven roadmap for improvements.
• Collaborate with senior management on a strategic improvement roadmap.
• Provide data analysis for capital equipment justifications.
