Job summary
Allied Interiors Group seeks a Senior Industrial Reliability Engineer to drive manufacturing performance across cabinet production. You will analyze processes, labor utilization, equipment uptime, and material flow to identify opportunities that improve safety, quality, productivity, delivery, capacity, and cost.
You will partner with Operations, Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to eliminate waste, reduce downtime, and increase production capacity through
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 5-7 years of Industrial Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience improving manufacturing processes, labor productivity, throughput, and operational efficiency.
- Experience conducting time studies, work measurement, line balancing, and developing labor standards.
- Experience analyzing equipment downtime and partnering with Maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
- Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Experience developing business cases, ROI analyses, and financial justifications for improvements.
- Experience in cabinet manufacturing or high-volume wood/furniture environments is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operation.
- Facilitate Kaizen events, 5S, value stream mapping, and visual management.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement projects with measurable goals and ROI.
- Monitor project results and sustain improvements over time.
- Develop capacity models and analyze production requirements to identify staffing and equipment needs.
- Collaborate with Maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Create performance dashboards and reports for Operations and leadership.
