Job summary

Amteck is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments. You will ensure NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards compliance to support uptime, safety, and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance, strong fault-finding skills, and the ability to travel up to 100%.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in an industrial electrical maintenance setting.
Strong understanding of electrical theory, power distribution, and industrial electrical installations.
Ability to develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies aligned with industry standards.
High proficiency with electrical tools, diagnostic instruments, and testing equipment.
Ability to interpret arc-flash studies and safety protocols.
Extensive knowledge of NEC rules and OSHA, NFPA 70E and related safety standards.
Strong scheduling and reporting abilities for maintenance activities.
Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards.
Conduct infrared thermography to identify abnormal heat and faults.
Inspect electrical components and wiring for wear or damage.
Clean and service electrical equipment for reliability and longevity.
Test power distribution systems and motors to verify performance.
Assess equipment conditions and maintenance risks for improvements.
Enforce lockout/tagout and arc-flash safety procedures.
Support EHS initiatives and safe work practices.
Document inspections, tests, actions, and recommendations.
Communicate findings to customers and team members.
