Körber Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to advance electrical hardware and software for industrial machinery.

You will design electrical drawings, develop BOMs in SAP, and contribute to UI/HMI development while ensuring regulatory and safety compliance. You will collaborate with Engineering, Production, Service and Quality teams to resolve technical issues and support project execution.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience with electrical and electronic components and in development of industrial machinery.
• Proficient in electrical CAD tools; ELCAD preferred.
• Experience with SAP is highly desirable.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Aufgaben

• Prepare electrical drawings and documentation including circuit diagrams, wire lists, parts lists, operating sequences, manuals and technical descriptions.
• Support electrical design activities including component selection and issue resolution of design challenges.
• Develop BOMs in SAP per company standards for integration and use.
• Support UI/HMI development and assist with programming and integration of machine control systems.
• Build electrical control cabinets and wire machinery during prototype development and testing.
• Design, support and construct test stands to evaluate components and system performance.
• Troubleshoot, repair and enhance electrical/electronic systems on manufacturing equipment.
• Support PLM activities including Teamcenter coordination with affiliated teams.
• Update legacy machine control systems to current standards and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Production, Service, Quality and other teams to resolve issues.
