Körber Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Electrical Engineering to lead design and development for domestic and international markets. The role oversees hardware/software design, team direction, and project execution across a diverse, global engineering group.

Responsibilities include driving technical direction, coordinating with Sales on quotations, and ensuring schedules and budgets are met while delivering innovative electrical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in high-speed automation design and development.
• Hands-on engineering experience with panel design and automation programming.
• Experience managing engineering teams and technical projects.
• Experience supporting personnel development and employee growth.
• Strong knowledge of electrical hardware design, panel design, automation programming, and related disciplines.
• Ability to lead engineering teams and provide technical direction on complex projects.
• Excellent project management skills, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and priorities.
• Strong organizational, capacity planning, workload management, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional, and international environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop practical, creative solutions.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, able to present to customers and senior management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware and software design activities for new developments and refurbishments.
• Provide technical direction for team solutions and oversee design reviews.
• Oversee technical clarification activities and maintain processes and schedules.
• Lead and motivate a diverse technical team on complex projects.
• Support training and day-to-day work with capacity planning and tooling management.
• Collaborate with global headquarters on development projects.
• Partner with Sales on quotations and labor estimates.
• Lead technical discussions with customers and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Conduct feasibility studies, prototyping, and full development projects.
• Monitor scope, schedules, and budgets while managing priorities.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Project Management, Production, Service and Purchasing teams.
• Network with customers and global groups to develop creative solutions.
• Support personnel development and knowledge sharing.
