Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller Design Group seeks an experienced Construction Site Superintendent to lead industrial project execution from planning through completion. You will supervise subcontractors, manage safety programs, and coordinate with clients and internal teams to deliver on time and within budget.

You will bring a decade of field leadership, OSHA 30 certification, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, CAD, and Microsoft Office to a dynamic, growth-driven environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of ten years of experience as a construction site superintendent on industrial projects.
• Experience on industrial facilities and structures (Cold Storage, Food & Beverage, Life Science, etc.).
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field.
• OSHA 30 certification and willingness to travel for extended periods.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, CAD.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field activities, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality requirements are met.
• Lead on-site safety meetings and enforce zero-incident goals.
• Coordinate with client, Design Group team, and subcontractors to keep projects on time and within budget.
• Maintain documentation in Procore, track progress, and manage RFIs and submittals.
• Review plans, provide technical input, and support pre-construction and scheduling activities.
