Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller Companies Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead complex industrial projects in California.

You will work with internal design teams and external subcontractors to deliver on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate has 12+ years in construction roles, 8+ years as a construction manager for industrial structures, and strong knowledge of process systems and bids.

Qualifications

12+ years of construction experience including project engineer, site superintendent, or PM roles.
8+ years in construction management with industrial structures.
Experience with industrial projects in food/beverage/pharma preferred.
Familiarity with prime contracts, schedules, scopes, budgets, and performance expectations.
Ability to read P&IDs and understand process systems.

Responsibilities

Manage construction projects in food, beverage, and life science sectors with internal design teams and subcontractors.
Lead project execution from inception to close-out: planning, scheduling, resources, budgets.
Prepare and review project estimates and bids; oversee bid packages and contractor mobilization.
Ensure safety, quality, schedule, and cost controls; coordinate with stakeholders.
