Legacy Risk Solutions seeks an experienced Individual Benefits Account Manager to service clients’ health and benefits needs from enrollment to renewal. You will explain plan options, coordinate applications with carriers, and maintain client relationships across the enrollment lifecycle.

The role emphasizes client-focused guidance, timely service, and collaboration with carrier partners and internal teams to ensure accurate documentation and smooth policy administration.

Qualifications

• Active Accident, Sickness & Life Insurance License required.
• 3–4 years of insurance experience, preferably in individual health or related benefits.
• Strong knowledge of individual insurance products, enrollment requirements, and carrier processes.
• Experience working with carrier partners and servicing clients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and ability to use enrollment platforms and agency systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service a book of individual benefits clients through the policy lifecycle (enrollments, renewals, changes, ongoing service).
• Explain plan benefits, premiums, deductibles, copays, networks, exclusions and other coverage provisions to clients.
• Coordinate new business applications and enrollments, ensuring information is complete and submitted on time.
• Assist clients with annual renewals and evaluate alternative coverage options when appropriate.
• Respond to client questions on coverage, billing, claims, IDs, and policy documents.
• Maintain accurate client records in the agency management system.
