Job summary

Acrisure is looking for a Sr. Benefits Account Manager to support a portfolio of employee benefits clients and apply core insurance principles to strategic decisions. You will serve as a lead contact, develop coverage strategies, and manage complex accounts.

The role requires deep knowledge of employee benefits, strong relationship skills, and the ability to advise clients on ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, and related compliance issues while coordinating with internal teams for service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred, or equitable experience.
• Five+ years’ experience servicing employee benefit clients in the small and large group segment.
• L&H license required.
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of employee benefits clients.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to understand needs and objectives.
• Conduct regular meetings to review benefit programs and discuss improvements.
• Provide strategic advice on health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance.
• Collaborate with insurance carriers and vendors to negotiate terms and service levels.
• Oversee implementation of new benefits plans and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Mentor junior account managers and coordinate with sales, underwriting and customer service.
