Job summary

Wayfair is hiring a Senior Designer for AllModern Stores in Lynnfield, MA. You will provide authentic customer experiences, apply interior design expertise to guide purchases, and coach Design Sales Advisors while managing workload with the Store Leader.

You’ll also handle design appointments and contribute to store profitability through design deliverables and visual merchandising. You’ll need 3+ years of sales experience in interior design or home goods, strong team leadership, and solid

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in interior design, furniture, or home goods.
• Experience motivating a team to achieve sales goals in a store environment.
• Strong understanding of design principles including spatial planning, fabrics, and trends.

Responsibilities

• Provide authentic, friendly customer experience aligned with Wayfair standards.
• Leverage design expertise to assist customers with design needs and purchases.
• Coach and support Design Sales Advisors and manage workload per Store Leader guidance.
• Train and develop Design team on product knowledge, selling, and customer service.
• Manage in-home, virtual, and in-store design appointments, including design deliverables and moodboards.
• Use design software tools to drive store profitability (moodboards, space plans, 2D/3D views).
• Meet or exceed sales and customer satisfaction KPIs.
• Assist in store operations: new product floor sets, replenishment, substitutions.
