Job summary

RTX’s Strategic Communications group seeks an experienced program planner to support Ground & Maritime Systems in a remote capacity. You will help develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Program Measurement Baseline (PMB) while coordinating with scheduling SMEs, program managers, finance, contracts, and technical leads.

The ideal candidate is analytical, data-driven, and capable of producing mitigation plans to keep IMS as a predictive management tool. U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
• U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
• Scheduling experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Experience using scheduling software to create and maintain industry-related schedules, such as Microsoft MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan, or similar scheduling software
• Experience or familiarity with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business processes

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) compliant with government and corporate requirements, demonstrating required cost and schedule integration
• Assist with planning and cost estimation activities, performing analysis and preparing reports to ensure programs meet or exceed scheduled commitments
• Includes preparation of internal weekly and monthly program schedule review packages, as well as compliant external contractual data requirements list (CDRL) submittals
• Participate in the preparation of schedules for all contract work, performing critical path analysis, schedule risk analysis, variance analysis, and other forms of in-depth, actionable schedule-related analysis
• Incorporate contractual and programmatic changes into the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to maintain realistic, current contract schedule baselines
• This position will support an Eastern Time Zone
