Job summary
GEODIS is seeking a Senior Operations Manager - Import to lead ocean and air import operations and all customs brokerage functions at the station, ensuring a safe, profitable operation.
The role requires minimum 6 years of relevant experience, a brokerage license, and strong PC skills with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. You will monitor productivity, start up new accounts, and train teams for client onboarding.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Brokerage License
- PC literate and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Responsibilities
- Monitors team productivity and assigns new accounts
- Establishes new accounts, based upon review of POA’s and completed client information sheets, etc.
- Initiates and handles new client start up processes
- Trains individuals within teams to take responsibility of new client accounts
