Job summary

GEODIS USA, LLC is seeking a Logistics Team Lead to maximize productivity, supervise a team of import specialists, and ensure accurate entries, billing, and compliance with customs procedures. You will monitor workflows, coach staff, and coordinate with supervisors to reduce overtime while maintaining accuracy and service levels.

The role requires at least 2 years of relevant experience, a brokerage license preferred, and the ability to supervise others.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related experience and/or training.
• Brokerage License preferred.
• Ability to supervise and/or direct the work of others.

Responsibilities

• Maximizes team productivity by ensuring team reaches max file count and evaluates ETA of shipments.
• Informs management where team can assist or where help is needed to reduce overtime.
• Leads team per client SOPs and oversees workflow including classification, entry, billing and auditing.
• Assists team in resolving Customs issues and monitors exams to prevent mis-deliveries.
• Monitors Entry Status Reports and ensures proper handling of holds and exams.
• Reviews rejected entries and Post Entry work for supervisor approval.
• Monitors payables/receivables and resolves discrepancies promptly.
• Ensures staff complete required training and maintains organized desks.
