Job summary

GEODIS in Atlanta is seeking a Senior Account Representative for Air/Ocean Import to act as the customer service liaison, select carriers, and manage documentation and invoicing. The role requires experience in customs brokerage or import/export and familiarity with ERP, TMS, and WMS systems.

You will coordinate with overseas offices, enter shipment details, and ensure timely communication with customers, carriers, and vendors while maintaining high data accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in customs brokerage or import/export.
• Familiarity with ERP, TMS, and WMS software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Ability to interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to solve practical problems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the customer service liaison between GEODIS and customers.
• Select carriers and routing based on shipment needs.
• Process documents and information requests.
• Enter data in Cargowise and related systems.
• Coordinate with overseas agents and offices.
• Prepare quotes and communicate with customers, carriers, and vendors.
• Ensure 95% data accuracy in shipments.
• Arrange bookings with airlines, ocean carriers, and trucking.
• Handle invoicing and tracking inquiries.
• Support pick list and manifest accuracy.
• Respond to emails and calls promptly.
