Job description

In this opportunity as Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for successfully implementing the software package and solutions for clients across geographies. This position is ideally suitable for a candidate with knowledge of Global Trade Management (GTM) as a domain that includes one or more of the following - Import/ Export Compliance, Supply Chain Compliance, Free Trade Agreement, Denied/Restricted Party screening, HTS classification. The ideal candidate would have worked in any industry (IT or non-IT) with knowledge of Global Trade.

About the role:

In this opportunity as Implementation Consultant, you are a fit for this position if your background includes:

  1. Client Interaction: Engage with Global Trade, Compliance, and Technology professionals in Fortune 500 clients.
  2. Requirements Gathering: Lead sessions to gather requirements and formulate design/solution documentation.
  3. Process Mapping: Translate client business processes and policies into our solutions.
  4. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams, such as Product Management & Engineering, to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  5. Implementation: Perform technical and functional tasks on medium to large projects.
  6. Testing: Prepare and execute test scripts and test cases.
  7. Problem-solving: Explain system issues/problems and solutions to technical staff. Foster solutions to attend to client’s needs.
  8. Project Management: Lead low-complexity projects with limited supervision. Delegate tasks to ensure the delivery of all project requirements.

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Implementation Consultant if your background includes:

  • 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in global trade and implementation roles.
  • Working knowledge of large IT systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Technical knowledge of SQL & XML; coding experience is welcome.
  • Familiarity with TRs products or competitor products is an advantage.
  • Strong consulting and client relationship management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a globally distributed team environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Positive learning attitude and adaptability to changing environments.
  • Knowledge of GTM (Global Trade Management).
