Job summary

Later is seeking a Senior Identity Engineer to strengthen and scale security across our platform. You will own identity and access management, authentication systems, and secure-by-design development.

You\'ll partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Product to embed security into CI/CD pipelines, automate compliance, and build internal tooling that supports secure delivery at scale.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience in security engineering or software engineering with a security focus.
• Strong background in identity, access management, and cloud security tooling.
• Experience applying OWASP, NIST, and CIS Controls in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Own identity and access management across the platform, including authentication, authorization, and M2M processes.
• Design, implement, and maintain secure authentication systems for internal tools and customer experiences.
• Harden login systems and ensure secure integration between tools.
• Build and maintain internal security tooling to support secure development and compliance workflows.
• Embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines (SAST/DAST/SCA, container scanning, secret management).
• Collaborate with engineering to identify vulnerabilities and drive remediation.
