Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience building and operating production software.
• Hands-on experience developing production services in Go or Python.
• Experience with authentication, authorization, identity, or related security systems.
• Built networking systems, API gateways, APIs, or SDKs.
• Led complex projects spanning multiple engineers and months.
• End-to-end ownership and post-launch involvement.
• Clear communication, cross-team collaboration, practical technical decisions.
• Mentored engineers and raised quality through feedback.

Responsibilities

• Lead business-critical projects from design through launch and long-term operation.
• Build secure, reliable services for authentication, authorization, delegation, auditing, and revocation.
• Break ambiguous problems into actionable work for multiple engineers.
• Own customer impact, reliability, and technical quality in production.
• Improve architecture as scale, security, and product needs change.
• Define and maintain SLOs for owned systems.
• Partner with Security, Product, Platform, and product engineering teams.
• Create reusable patterns to simplify IAM for other teams.
• Mentor engineers and help project contributors succeed.
• Apply new engineering and AI tools responsibly and share learnings.
