Mercy Health in Youngstown, OH is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner II at St. Charles Hospital to deliver comprehensive respiratory care, assess patients, plan treatments, and educate families.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide ventilator care, bronchodilator therapies and diagnostic procedures. The role includes leading shifts as Charge Therapist, precepting new staff, and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes with safety and compliance to ACLS/PALS and NBRC

Qualifikationen

• Two years of experience as a Respiratory Care Professional.
• Current Respiratory Care License in the state they are working (required).
• NBRC credentialed (required).
• ACLS and PALS certifications (required).
• BLS Basic Life Support (required).
• EPIC EHR experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide respiratory care including oxygen and aerosolized medication delivery and ventilator care.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust therapies as needed.
• Assist with bronchoscopy, intubation support and invasive monitoring as applicable.
• Precept new staff and students when assigned.
• Maintain medical records and documentation of procedures.
• Ensure equipment maintenance and safety of all respiratory devices.
