Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner II at Kings Mills Hospital in Ohio. You will deliver respiratory therapies, monitor patient responses, and assist with advanced procedures under physician orders.

This role requires leadership during shifts and strong collaboration with the care team. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy, state licensure, NBRC credentials, and at least two years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field preferred.
• Current Respiratory Care License in the state of practice; NBRC credentialed.
• Two years of experience as a Respiratory Care Professional required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as shift Charge Therapist to ensure adequate staffing.
• Perform respiratory therapies per physician orders and evaluate patient response.
• Assist with bronchoscopy, tracheostomy care, and invasive monitoring where applicable.
• MaintainRespiratory Therapy equipment and document procedures.
• Provide patient and family education on therapy goals and home care as needed.
