Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics seeks a Senior Inventory Specialist to drive inventory integrity and quality across multiple sites. You will lead ICQA improvements, target cycle counts, and implement standard procedures with a matrixed operations team.

The role emphasizes training, governance, and data-driven improvements, partnering with IT and CI teams to enhance reporting and KPIs. On-site in Chantilly, VA and other locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field.
• 5+ years in supply chain, logistics, or operations analytics (3PL experience strongly preferred).
• 4+ years in inventory control, quality assurance, or operational excellence leadership.
• Proven track record improving inventory accuracy and operational quality metrics.
• Ability to lead through influence in a matrixed organization.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis capability.

Responsibilities

• Build capability and consistency across sites through training, tools, and governance.
• Partner closely with Site Operations Leaders, Engineering & Continuous Improvement teams & Account Management/Customer teams.
• Influence without direct authority to ensure adoption of ICQA standards.
• Drive network-wide inventory accuracy performance, including cycle count execution and shrink reduction programs.
• Develop SOPs and ensure consistent execution across sites.
• Implement structured quality audits and CAPA processes across the network.
