Job summary

Target in Maryland is seeking an Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) Team Member to audit inventory, resolve defects, and drive accuracy in stored locations. You will perform weekly audits, document root causes, and partner with ICQA Leaders and operations to support safe, efficient warehouse operations.

Use lean/six sigma practices, data entry, and basic Excel for reporting, and operate powered equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years prior work experience as a warehouse worker, operations technician, quality control technician, or similar warehouse operator
• Able to work both independently and in a team environment
• Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35-45 lbs. frequently throughout a shift and up to 60lbs. occasionally
• Ability to read, utilize matching skills and comprehend department/product documentation
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to operate computer systems with minimal direction after receiving training
• Ability to research defects/issues and root cause the drivers of those defects
• Ability to navigate web-based ICQA reporting and forms (such as Smartsheet) with minimal direction after training
• Ability to perform basic data entry and analysis in excel or other web based forms
• Ability to be trained on powered equipment as needed

Responsibilities

• Audit and resolve defects within SLA and document root cause for follow-up
• Improve inventory accuracy and support safe warehouse operations
• Address inaccuracies to prevent downstream order cancellations
• Collaborate with ICQA Leader and operational leaders across building
