Ultipro is seeking an O&M / IC&E Technician for Tejas Energy Center in Houston, TX. The role combines plant operations with electrical, instrumentation, and controls maintenance, including troubleshooting and calibration of low- to medium-voltage systems.

The position requires hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, LM6000 PC units, and Siemens 501 D5 turbines, with a rotating 12-hour schedule to support 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in instrumentation or electrical technology preferred.
• Hands-on experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems up to 480 V.
• Experience with turbine controls, PLCs, and plant instrumentation is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot turbine control, electrical, and instrumentation systems from 24V to 480V.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on LM6000 PC units and Siemens 501 D5 equipment.
• Inspect and replace motors, transformers, switches, and control wiring.
• Interpret PLC logic, schematics, and P&IDs for diagnostics and repairs.
• Support upgrades and integration of turbine controls and instrumentation.
