Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join the Corporate Sector – Infrastructure Platforms. You will apply deep knowledge of software, applications, and infrastructure processes to shape and evolve high-performing solutions within a global bank.

You will drive AI-assisted infrastructure delivery, validate recommendations, and coordinate with IBM and external vendors to modernize the environment while ensuring security and resiliency.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts with 5+ years applied experience.
• Deep knowledge of hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment, automation, scaling or performance.
• Experience using enterprise AI capabilities to support workflows with validation and data sensitivity awareness.
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations before implementation.
• Understanding IBMi hardware, distributed servers, storage SAN, databases and applications.

Responsibilities

• Applies technical expertise to projects of moderate scope and delivers design, development, and troubleshooting solutions.
• Leverages IBMi infrastructure skills and software/hardware driven tech with openness to new ideas.
• Uses AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure analysis and design documentation with proper validation and security handling.
• Drives a workstream of infrastructure technologies and coordinates changes across platforms to modernize processes.
• Considers upstream/downstream data implications and advises on mitigations.
• Applies reuse-first, AI-assisted practices to identify recurring issues and ensures traceability and auditable changes.
