Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Deep knowledge across hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment, automation, scaling, resilience or performance assessments.
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI to support infra workflows with validation and data-sensitivity awareness.
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations before implementation and ensure alignment to resiliency, security, and auditability.

Responsibilities

• Applies technical expertise to projects of moderate scope and executes creative solutions for design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Supports IBMi infrastructure with AI-assisted analysis and maintains security requirements.
• Drives a workstream or project across infra technologies and coordinates changes with other platforms to modernize processes.
• Advise on data implications and mitigations before changes are implemented.
• Ensures changes are traceable, auditable and aligned with resiliency and security goals.
