Job summary

Workday, a global technology leader, seeks a Sr. IAM Cybersecurity Engineer within the Enterprise Identity team. You will design and support security for employee and client identities, ensuring a comprehensive IAM program across IAM, ILM, IGA, and PAM.

You will collaborate with business leaders, maintain security policies, and drive zero-trust and least-privilege initiatives while evolving identity governance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field.
• 7+ years IT or information security experience (BS) or 4+ years with MS.
• Proficiency in information security concepts and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with Okta (IAM, Workflows).
• Experience with identity governance tools (Okta Identity Governance, SailPoint).
• Understanding of identity lifecycle management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Understand business needs and anticipate threats to the organization.
• Identify, assess, and evaluate cybersecurity risks across projects.
• Lead and maintain a comprehensive Identity program (IAM, ILM, IGA, PAM).
• Architect Zero Standing Privileges frameworks and dynamic authorization models.
• Implement Just-In-Time provisioning and contextual access evaluations.
• Support security workflows aligning with enterprise standards and strategy.
• Collaborate with product owners to integrate contextual authorization.
• Develop and revise security policies toward least-privilege approaches.
• Maintain identity cybersecurity across departments and levels.
