Bank of America is seeking an IAM Identity, Authentication, Authorization & Governance Senior Security Specialist within Global Information Security. This role shapes governance across human, machine, and service identities, partnering with senior technology, risk, compliance, and audit stakeholders to evolve authentication and authorization for cloud and digital growth.

You will influence enterprise IAM strategy, architecture, and access controls, while driving zero trust and least privilege

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in identity and access management, cybersecurity, cloud security, or access management within large, complex organizations.
Leadership experience required; demonstrated success enabling enterprise IAM transformation, modernization, governance, or control programs.
Knowledge of modern authentication, federation, and authorization standards (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML).

Responsibilities

Establish IAM control requirements and governance in partnership with risk and control organizations.
Translate policy, regulatory, and audit requirements into practical controls across enterprise platforms.
Drive remediation of identity risks and control gaps, escalating risk decisions as needed.
Provide executive-level reporting on identity risk, control health, and remediation progress.
Support audit readiness and issue closure with clear accountability and evidence.
