Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an IAM Identity, Authentication, Authorization & Governance Senior Security Specialist within Global Information Security (GIS). The role influences identity governance across the enterprise and partners with technology, risk, compliance, and audit leaders to strengthen authentication and authorization controls for cloud and digital growth.

Qualifications

10+ years in identity and access management, cybersecurity, cloud security, or access management within large organizations.
Leadership experience required.
Experience guiding enterprise IAM transformation, modernization, governance, or control programs.
Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and token-based authentication.
Experience across cloud, SaaS, API, application, and hybrid environments.
Strong written and verbal communication with executive audiences.
Familiar with standards like NIST, ISO, FFIEC, SOX, SOC.
CISSP, CCSP, CRISC, CISM or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

Establish IAM governance, controls, and escalation paths with risk and control teams.
Translate policy and audit requirements into practical identity controls.
Drive remediation of identity risks and control gaps and report progress to executives.
Support audit readiness and evidence-based closure of issues.
Build partnerships across GIS, Core Technology, Development, Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Third-Party Management.
Advise senior leaders on complex identity and security decisions with strategic options.
