Job summary

ServiceNow’s Identity Platform Engineering team seeks a Senior Staff IAM Software Engineer to build and operate the enterprise IAM stack. You will own end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, drive critical integrations, and mentor 4–5 engineers across DevOps and security-focused initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years as a senior staff or equivalent.
• Strong IAM domain experience with Identity lifecycle, RBAC/ABAC, and Privileged Access Management.
• Full stack development: backend (Java or Python, MySQL/PostgreSQL) and frontend (JavaScript, REST APIs, HTML/CSS).
• Experience building production enterprise-grade platforms.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling (GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, JFrog).
• Proficiency with infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet).
• Identity data analytics: designing queries and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Own system integrations across Identity Platforms and ServiceNow (APIs, connectors, provisioning workflows).
• Mentor 4–5 junior to mid-level engineers.
• Design scalable, reusable software components with emphasis on performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers and other teams to define frameworks.
• Apply data analytics to identity governance (RBAC mining, access pattern analysis).
• Partner with security, compliance, and platform teams for secure, auditable solutions.
• Drive initiatives with principal staff to maintain standards.
