Job summary

ServiceNow is seeking a Senior DevOps / SRE Engineer to oversee deployment, monitoring, and management of a high-scale, secure infrastructure in a regulated environment. You will work with a massive microservices ecosystem and drive automated provisioning and reliability across cloud environments.

You will design scalable platforms, enforce security controls, and lead PoCs for new tooling while collaborating with multiple teams to ensure uptime and rapid innovation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Linux server experience in cloud environments.
• 3+ years of AWS infrastructure experience in production.
• 5+ years of Python and Kubernetes experience in production.
• Experience with production troubleshooting, auto-scaling, and reliability.
• DBRE experience and large-scale systems operations.
• Strong alerting, incident triage, and monitoring knowledge.
• IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation in practice.
• Networking fundamentals and service mesh knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable production infrastructure across cloud environments.
• Drive automated alerting and monitoring strategies for infrastructure and databases.
• Own uptime and reliability of large-scale systems with cross-team collaboration.
• Enforce security/compliance practices (FedRAMP, SOC 2) throughout SDLC.
• Lead PoCs for new tools to improve performance and security posture.
• Build Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Maintain documentation and provide on-call incident support.
