Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Identity and Access Management (IAM) Senior Architect to lead the Workforce Identity program.

You will design scalable, secure identity solutions across hybrid multi-cloud environments, drive M&A integration, and champion Zero Standing Privilege and Just-In-Time access controls. You will influence enterprise IAM standards, evaluate vendor patterns, and collaborate with Security, IT Ops, HR, and Applications to deliver end-to-end IAM initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field.
• 10+ years in Information Security and Identity Management, with 5+ years as Lead/Principal Enterprise IAM Architect (Fortune 500 or hyper-scale preferred).
• Deep expertise in OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0, SCIM 2.0, FIDO2/WebAuthn, and Kerberos.

Responsibilities

• Architect hybrid/multi-cloud IAM solutions for large-scale environments.
• Lead cross-domain identity consolidation across Okta, Entra ID, Ping and multiple directories.
• Define enterprise IAM standards and reference architectures for SSO, IGA, and directory services.
• Evaluate third-party integration patterns and vendor statements of work for complex migrations.
• Design and implement IAM automation, provisioning, and lifecycle workflows.
• Ensure IAM solutions comply with SOX ITGC, HIPAA, and GDPR requirements.
