Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior IAM Engineer to architect and scale identity security across a hyper-scale, multi-cloud environment supporting 50,000+ employees globally. You will define enterprise IAM standards, lead cross-domain consolidation of IdPs (Okta, Entra ID, Ping) and implement ZSP, JIT, PAM, and CIEM practices to enable rapid M&A integrations.

You will influence architecture decisions, evaluate vendor work, and collaborate with HRIS and security teams to securely govern access

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or related field.
• 10+ years in Information Security and Identity Management, with 5+ years as Lead/Principal IAM Architect.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, SCIM 2.0, FIDO2/WebAuthn, Kerberos.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise IAM architecture standards and reference blueprints.
• Act as architectural authority for vendor integrations and migration patterns.
• Design hybrid/multi-cloud IAM bridges linking on-prem AD/ADFS with cloud IdPs.
• Define ZSP/JIT access patterns and PAM/CIEM usage to reduce attack surface.
• Lead IAM engineering efforts for M&A integrations and tenant consolidation.
• Develop automated provisioning and identity lifecycle workflows.
