Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a highly experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Senior Engineer to join the Workforce Identity team. You will architect and scale IAM across a hyper-scale, hybrid multi-cloud environment, drive M&A integrations, and champion ZSP and JIT access for 50,000+ employees and contractors.

You will define enterprise IAM standards, evaluate vendor SoWs, and lead cross-domain identity consolidation, while ensuring compliance with SOX, HIPAA, and GDPR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 10+ years in Information Security and Identity Management, with 5+ years as Lead or Principal Enterprise IAM Architect in a Fortune 500 or hyper-scale enterprise preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise IAM architecture standards for SSO, IGA, and directory services.
• Lead identity consolidation across multiple IdPs and directories.
• Architect cross-cloud IAM bridges linking on‑prem AD/ADFS with cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure/Entra).
• Champion Zero Standing Privilege (ZSP) and Just‑In‑Time (JIT) access models (PAM, CIEM).
• Design SailPoint connectors for AD/JDBC/Web Services; automate provisioning.
• Ensure IAM solutions comply with GDPR, HIPAA, SOX; provide auditable access records.
