Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. seeks an Identity and Access Management Senior Engineer to lead IAM for its global workforce.

You will architect and scale IAM across hybrid multi‑cloud environments, drive M&A integrations, and implement Zero Standing Privilege and Just‑In‑Time access controls. You will establish enterprise IAM standards for SSO, IGA, and directories, design cross‑cloud federation, evaluate vendor approaches, and enable secure access for employees and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years in Information Security and Identity Management, with 5+ years as Lead/Principal IAM Architect.
• Deep knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0, SCIM 2.0, FIDO2/WebAuthn, and Kerberos.
• Experience with enterprise IdPs (Microsoft Entra ID, Okta) and IGA/PAM tools (SailPoint, CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault).

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise IAM architecture standards and patterns for SSO, IGA, and directory services.
• Lead cross-domain identity consolidation across IdPs (Okta, Entra ID, Ping).
• Design cross‑cloud federation, B2B collaboration, and tenant boundary governance.
• Architect IAM workstreams for M&A integrations and consolidate IdPs into a unified SSO platform.
• Lead identity migration and system consolidation for new acquisitions.
• Ensure secure, compliant access and governance across the enterprise.
