Job summary

Valar Atomics is seeking an I&C Hardware Engineer to specify, design, install, commission, and maintain instrumentation and control hardware for nuclear fuel facilities. You will cover field instrument selection, control panel architecture, hazardous area classification, and safety instrumented system hardware in support of both capital projects and ongoing plant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Chemical, or Systems Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years in instrumentation or I&C engineering in process industries.
• Experience specifying and sizing field instruments and control valves.

Responsibilities

• Specify, design, install, commission, and maintain instrumentation and control hardware.
• Prepare instrument data sheets, I/O lists, loop diagrams, and P&ID markups.
• Support SIF/SIS hardware scope and SIL verification.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, and piping engineers on installation details.
